Fall - Baby Turtles - Warm October. This October, Michigan had many warm days. Plus, October 10th was a hot 80 degrees F (26 degrees C). This month was very green. The leaves slowly changed color. But it was fun to find baby turtles, on different days. To my delight, I held a baby Snapping Turtle (Chelydra serpentina), a baby Wood Turtle (Glyptemys insculpta), and a baby Spiny Softshell Turtle (Apalone spinifera).
