Rainbows and Moonbows. On October 7, 2022, I was excited to see a full rainbow, in the day, and a moonbow, at night. A "moonbow" / "lunar rainbow" is a rainbow at night, when it's raining and a full moon is low in the sky. I never saw or heard of a "moonbow" before, but now I have. See my

Rainbow Colors of Sugar Maples. This October was colorful, not only because of the rainbow and moonbow, but also because of the fall color of Sugar Maple trees. See my

Nature and Art Classes. This fall, I'm teaching two in-person classes and two online classes. The classes are within the "Galien Valley Nature and Culture Program," I sign my photos and education materials as the "Pocket Pumpkin Press," the Galien Valley webpages are on the "z-hub z-design" website, and the "ABC Garden" is the set of nature and art activities that I teach.
