Wild Turkeys.   Wild Turkeys (Meleagris gallopavo) are active and live in Michigan year-round, including December. I spotted a group of Wild Turkeys, at Warren Dunes State Park, on December 5.  See more of my photos of Wild Turkeys, in my daily blog.

Views of Nature in Different Weeks, Months, and Seasons.  Now that fall is ending and this year is ending, it's fun to look back to see how the landscapes have changed over the weeks, months, and seasons, this year.  You're welcome to see that the same views of trees look different in October, November, and December, this year.  See that the same views of a prairie look different each month, from April to December.  See that the same views of the woods look different each season.  See my photo series of weeks, months, and seasons, in my daily blog.

Happy End of Fall on December 20th!
Happy First Day of Winter, on December 21st, the Winter Solstice!
