April Showers, Sun, and Snow. In Michigan, there's a little snow in the fall and spring. And there are April showers to bring April and May flowers. There are sunny days too. See my photos of the beautiful variable spring weather in Michigan, in my daily blog.
April Wildflowers. The Hepatica (Hepatica nobilis) and Bloodroot (Sanguinaria canadensis) bloomed in mid-April, instead of late-March, this year. Otherwise, the on-time favorites blossomed in mid-April too, including the Spring Beauty (Claytonia virginica) and the Trout Lily (Erythronium americanum).
